Well it’s the huge news of the day everyone . Peter Jackson is returning to Middle Earth. This news came about 14 months after and we found that Warner brothers would be making more middle films. And today we just got the first Domino to fall and that is Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh and “Philippa Boyens”. The Oscar winning Trio Behind the “Lord of the Rings” and The Hobbit trilogies are returning to produce this next film from the Middle Earth world.

Warner Brothers had secured the rights to make more middle movies. The agreement of course came between Warner Brothers and middle Enterprises under its new owner Embracer Group. And the first bit of news has gone viral about this new state of films from the quarterly earnings call that Warner Brother Discovery hosted this morning.
In that call Warner Brothers Discovery CEO David Zasloff confirmed that Peter, Fran and Philippa would be returning to produce the new film and would be involved every step of the way. In this call to investors he goes on to say “Lord of the Rings” is one of the most successful film in history and presents a significant opportunity for our theatrical business.
The first film was called “The Hunt for Gollum” that seems to be a working title for now that was confirmed on Andy Serkis’s Instagram account and Andy Serkis will be returning not only to play Gollum but also to direct the film. The script of the movie is written by Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens also involved are Phoebe Gettens and Arty Papa Georgio and if those names sound familiar they are the screenwriters for the upcoming “War of the harem” animated film that’s coming out this December in theaters.
The ‘War of Harem ” is about to release in December as that animated film takes place during the time of “Helm Hammerand ” roughly 200ish years before the time of “The Lord of the Rings” and then just announced “Hunt for Gollum”.
There is a period of time where Gandalf sends Aorn on this quest to track down Gollum. Because Gandalf is starting to suspect that Bilbo’s ring might be the one ring. Gollum might be the key to not only determining if that is the case but also how much does Sauron know and if you are wondering who might turn up in a Hunt for Gollum movie obviously Gollum Aorn Gandalf, I think those are the most obvious choices. But then it’s not a huge stretch to think that the other characters will be seen like Gadriel Kelborn, Elrond Arwin even though Legalis and just as compelling a question is maybe who else behind the scenes might return to Middle Earth.
