Tentative release date of the film
The sequel of the border film is going to be made after 27 years. In December 2023 a news went viral that the shooting of the film “Border 2” will start in 2024 and that is confirmed. And now the director of the film Bhushan Kumar, JP Datta and Nidhi Dutta have decided to release the film in 2026 around Republic Day.
According to the reports, the film will be released on the big screen on 23rd of January 2026. And the reason for releasing the film on 23rd of January is the long weekend because on 23rd of January the day is Friday and 26 of January there is Monday Republic Day. So it’s beneficial for the film. And according to the makers of the film, to celebrate the bravery of Indian army forces there is no better day other than Republic Day.
Now the work on the script of the border 2 is going on. The script of the movie is getting ready according to the expectations of the people. Sunny Deol and Ayushman Khurana can start the shooting of the film by the end of this year. And the reports also said that the makers are trying to make “Border 2” to be the best film in the industry.
Till now the date of the release is not confirmed by the makers. And the Border was the best blockbuster movie of the year 1997. Sunny Deol played the lead role as Major Kuldeep Singh Chandrapuri along with Jackie Shroff, Sunil Shetty, Akshay Khanna, Tabu and Pooja Bhatt in lead roles.
