Vijay Verma is starring in the Matka King series, and shooting has started, which was officially confirmed by Prime Video by sharing a poster on social media.
The story of the Matka King series is set in the 1960s in Mumbai, where a cotton trader discovers and starts a gambling game named Matka, and that game becomes significantly popular among the people of the city. That is not limited to rich people but has become available to every individual.

The official announcement shared by Prime Video and actor Vijay Verma on their Instagram handle is that the series is a crime thriller that revolves around a gambling game called Matka.
In that official poster, Vijay Verma is seen wearing a white shirt with a short mustache, throwing cards in the air, and the caption is “ready to place our bet! #MatkaKingOnPrime soon, but filming now.”
The Matka King series also features Sai Tamhankar, Kritika Kamra, Gulshan Grover, and Siddharth Jadhav. It is directed by Nagraj Manjule and written by Manjule and Abhay Kurane. The series is produced under the banner of Roy Kapur Films.
