On Monday evening, the official X account of Aamir Khan Productions shared a photoshopped picture of ‘Laapataa Ladies’ actor Nitashi Goel’s appearance at the Met Gala 2024.
In the edited image, Nitanshi as Phool Kumari is seen playing a bride role in the ‘Laapataa Ladies’ that appeared on the red carpet of the Met Gala in the same look, wearing a simple red saree, wrapped in a maroon shawl over her shoulders, with a matching bindi on her forehead, and seeing a small smile on her face further from one hand carrying her saree and with another hand holding a shawl.

Nitanshi Goel as Phool in Laapataa Ladies
Nitanshi plays the character of Phool Kumari in ‘Laapataa Ladies’. A young bride gets lost in a train. When she gave an interview with ANI, she revealed the journey of how she prepared for that character.
In addition, she explained that for a better understanding of character, she watched ‘Sui Dhaaga’ and ‘Balika Badhu’ and watched plenty of Bhojpuri women’s videos to get an idea of how the women are there because she was born in 2007 and the movie’s story takes place in 2001. She had no clue about that era.
She wanted people to feel that she was from that era and tell the story of those women so that Nitanshi could practice their body language, such as how to wear a saree and how to wear a veil.
