Kartik Aaryan follows a specific diet and workout routine for his character in the upcoming film ‘Chandu Champion’. He is portraying the role of Murlikant Petkar, who is India’s first Paralympic gold medalist, on screen, and he was advised to take a meat-based diet to gain an accurate physique, but he refused the suggestion.

Kartik was last seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha, and after the success of his film, he geared up for the upcoming project with Kabir Khan in Chandu Champion. It is a biopic sports drama film directed and written by Kabir based on India’s first paralympic gold medalist, Murlikant Petkar. The film’s trailer was recently released by the actor at his hometown, and it was praised by the fans. He plays a wrestler, boxer, soldier, and swimmer in the movie.

Kartik Aaryan’s trainer reveals the secret behind his physique in the film

His trainer, Tridev Pandey, revealed that Kartik has undergone rigid training to learn boxing and made essential changes to his diet plan to get the proper physique for the film.

His trainer shared that “we had a weekly diet program for him, but we cannot make extreme changes with his diet, as he put on weight for post-Freddy, and the shoots for Satyaprem Ki Katha had started, and the shooting for Chandu champion was also going to start, but the actor was not getting the right amount of rest as an athlete needs for the diet to start working.”.

Kartik is an eggetarian, and he gets suggestions from many people to take a non-vegetarian diet. Being a vegetarian myself, I know how to build a body without eating meat-based food, and Kartik also appreciates my physique and asks me, ‘Aise body ban jayegi na’. I said yes to him, and he followed my advice.
