Recently, Diljit made his fans excited once again by sharing his Sardaar Ji 3 movie’s official poster and release date.
Sardaar Ji 3 release date revealed
Diljit, featuring in Sardaar Ji 3, is an action-comedy coming under the banner of White Hill Studios and Storytime Productions, and it will be released in theaters on June 27, 2025. Recently, Diljit shared the official film’s poster on their Instagram handle. It is an audio-tuned poster that shows a silhouette of Diljit Dosanjh and someone saying Sardaar, and Diljit is correcting him to say ‘Sardaar Ji’. Further details, such as cast and crew, will be out soon.

The announcement of Sardaar Ji 3 sparked reactions.
After dropping the poster of Sardaar Ji 3, fans got excited about the film and showed their excitement in the comment section. A fan wrote, “Surprise and surprise,” and another wrote, “Oh my god, I can’t wait with a heart emoji.” One fan commented, “Finally, the wait is over,” and a person wrote, “Can’t wait, @diljitdosanjh will be a super hit.”
About the Sardaar Ji franchise
The first film of the Sardaar Ji franchise was released in 2015 and was a mass entertainer. It was the biggest opening ever for a Punjabi film in Punjab at that time, and it collected ₹2.5 crore on the first day. Along with Diljit, Mandy Takhar and Neeru Bajwa were in lead roles, and the film was directed by Rohit Jugraj.
The second installment of Sardaar Ji was released in 2016, and Diljit featured in the film in triple roles alongside Monica Gill and Sonam Bajwa. As its previous part was a record-breaking collection, however, Sardaar Ji 2 got mixed reviews and average box office collections.
