Anurag Kashyap talking about his daughter’s wedding budget
In a recent conversation with Anurag Kashyap on her daughter’s podcast channel, Young, Dumb, and Anxious, he disclosed that after that, his daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap, taunted him for canceling the recording of her podcast.
Anurag explained the reason behind that: “I have a lot of work and am busy with the next film shoots, She interrupted by saying, “Is it more important than your daughter?” Anurag responded, “I have a marriage coming up”; someone is going to get married, and the budget for marriage is equal to one of my films.”
Aaliyah replied, “It’s alright. I am your only daughter. I feel like you can make an exception. You are lucky you don’t have more children, so you don’t have to do this again and again. because I am your only child, so it’s one and done. So it’s okay.”
Aaliyah asked Anurag Kashyap about his opinions on her marriage
Aaliyah asked him how he felt about her getting married. Anurag replied, “I am happy as long as she is happy. I also like that the world has changed too much, and I also got married when I was the same age as you are, but we both were not as wise as you both are.”

Anurag Kashyap talked about his daughter’s childhood
Recently, at an event in Kolkata, Anurag was seen talking about not spending enough time with his daughter Aaliyah during her childhood. He said, “I did not spend sufficient time with my daughter because, at that time, my complete focus was on cinema. I was extremely passionate. You realize when you grow in life that the most priceless thing is to spend time with family, keep your good ones close, and learn to be happy, and I have come to that point in life.”
