Andhra Pradesh Police Booked Case Super Star Against Allu Arjun

Allu Arjun, who is in the limelight for his forthcoming movie Pushpa 2, got into trouble when the Andhra Pradesh Police reported a case against him. On Saturday, he visited his YSRCP candidate and sitting MLA Shilpa Ravichandra Kishore Reddy’s house without the authority’s permission and gathered a crowd of thousands of people, leading to a roadblock.

A case has been registered against Allu Arjun

On Saturday, the last day of election campaigning, Allu Arjun came forward in support and visited his friend’s house, YSRCP MLA Shilpa Ravi, who is a candidate from the Nandyal seat. After his arrival, a large crowd gathered in the MLA’s residence, and the situation became difficult to control. Alongside the Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh, there were also assembly elections, and due to the election environment in the state, the police took strict action against Allu Arjun and Shilpa Ravi.

The police registered a case under IPC Section 188 (disobedience to an order duly promulgated by a public servant). Further, the FIR states that Allu Arjun violated the election protocols and broke CrPC Section 144, which prohibits the assembly of more than four people. It also states that he violated Section 31 of the Andhra Pradesh Police Act.

What was Allu Arjun’s response after that?

Allu Arjun responded to this incident in the press by saying that Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy is a good friend of mine, and he never asked me for any favor. He added that I came here intending to support him and that my best wishes were with him for this election. Arjun, during the 2019 elections, also campaigned for Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy, the Nandyal MLA.
