Pradeep Singh Rawat recently revealed in a interview about working on the sets of Koyla. Pradeep Singh Rawat is known for his anti-protagonist roles in 90s movies. He acted as a Police Commissioner in the Koyla film who worked for Raja Saab played by Amrish Puri.
Pradeep recalls that the movie was directed by Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan worked as an assistant director on the sets. He used to bring scripts to Johnny Lever in his room in the hotel.
Pradeep shares an anecdote how Rakesh made every evening a party night and called every person from his door. Then they would go to a disco party and enjoy the night.
Shah Rukh Khan, in his view, was a very well mannered and dedicated actor. He was admirable and an enjoyable person. Although one thing that Pradeep noticed that kept SRK swamped was his habit of chain smoking.
He smoked habitually and kept lighting one after another. Pradeep remembers fulgently that on occasions he would light one, then another and yet one another. But in contrast he gave a tremendous performance and was a wonderful person.

Koyla celebrates its 27th anniversary this year, the movie which was made with a budget of ₹11.9 crore earned ₹28.05 crore worldwide and was claimed as an average grosser primarily due to the reason that the protagonist remained a mute for the major part of the film.
Although settling for the title of average, the movie still succeeded to make a perpetual impression in the hearts of people, particularly the millenials.
Shah Rukh Khan who is a megastar and known across the globe has come into the limelight many times previously for his chain smoking habit. Although he promised he quit smoking, many pictures from his early days keep surfacing online.
He himself admitted that he used to smoke 100 cigarettes a day, and 30 cigarettes when he was about to quit smoking. Shah Rukh Khan was caught recently amid another controversy where he was found smoking in a VIP box in the Eden Gardens Stadium in the IPL 2024 against the Sunrisers Hyderabad match.
The authenticity of this claim is yet to be verified, but the video has already amassed millions of views on social media.
